While Charles Bronson sits in his cell on Christmas Day,
alone but for a small television set, this is what the
Prison Service is allowing the less savoury inmates of
"Monster Mansion" to get up to according to The People
newspaper. Are you as disgusted by this as Charlie and me
are?
HUNTLEY'S KARAOKE CHRISTMAS

EXCLUSIVE Fiend's singalong
SOHAM murderer Ian Huntley will celebrate Christmas with a
sing-along karaoke party in his maximum-security prison
wing.
The double child-killer will get a chance to sing his
favourite songs to fellow lags, who will also be entertained
by an inmates' band with the sick nickname The Paedophiliacs.
The party will be the highlight of a day of festivities at
Wakefield Prison in West Yorkshire.
But some staff have slammed the jollies as "disgusting".
The fun will also outrage the parents of Huntley's victims,
10-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
One officer said: "We should be remembering the families of
murdered kiddies like Holly and Jessica, not giving
Christmas treats to their killers."
Huntley, 32, will start his Christmas Day knees-up with a
special breakfast of cereal, warm baguettes, boiled eggs,
fresh yoghurt and fresh fruit juices.
He is currently locked up in the prison's hospital wing but
will join other inmates on D wing for the celebrations.
At lunchtime he will feast on a full roast turkey dinner
with all the trimmings followed by Christmas pudding with
rum sauce.
Some inmates at HMP Wakefield - nicknamed Monster Mansion
because it houses so many evil convicts - will spend the
afternoon playing cards and pool.
On Boxing Day afternoon they will be able to take part in a
four-a-side football tournament.
But Huntley, serving a life sentence for murdering the two
girls in Soham, Cambs, prefers to stay in his cell playing
on his PlayStation or watching DVDs.
In the afternoon prisoners will be given a selection of
cheeses, crackers, teacakes, fresh fruit and coffee.
Then they will spend their evening singing on a karaoke
machine and listening to the prisoners' band. Other inmates
at the prison include Sarah Payne's killer Roy Whiting,
babes-in-the-wood murderer Russell Bishop, serial killer
Robert Maudsley and violent hostage-taker Charles Bronson.
A source at the prison told The People: "It's disgusting
what the prisoners get at Christmas.
"Most of the staff would like to see them getting bread and
milk and nothing else.
"Why should they enjoy Christmas? They should dread it like
the families of some of their victims still do."
The source also revealed that jail governor David Thompson
sent all prisoners a letter wishing them a happy Christmas
and prosperous New Year.
Mr Thompson congratulated the prisoners, staff and
volunteers for "making HMP Wakefield a clean and decent
establishment".
He went on: "It would also be appropriate for us to think
about those for whom this Christmas will be their first
without a loved one, for we are all aware of families who
this year have been touched by the death of a loved one, so
Christmas can be a difficult time too."
Our source said: "Decency is the last thing you encounter in
the men in Wakefield Prison.
"It's filled with paedophiles and serial killers who should
be treated at Christmas like the scum they are."
