The painting above was created by a real talent: one Martin Joseph, otherwise known as Jose. I asked Jose to write me a short bio, so that you would all know who the talent was that could produce such an insightful work into Charlie's world. Here it is:

Hi, my name is Martin Joseph. I was born in 1968 in the city of Liverpool in a family of 6 children. I was the second youngest child. My father was a musician and my mother was a saint ... and she still is. I flunked Art College because I wasn't capable of the maths qualification, so I reverted back to my musical background (which didn't need maths) and played the drums in a band for years.

I have always painted and liked to draw, but I never really did much with it until the last couple of years. My day job is a part time Community Artist, and I do commissions from the house occasionally. If you have a look at my site then you will see what kind of work I enjoy painting the most. I manage to do so much with the wonderful support from my family. Thanks very much Mal for showing and supporting my work. Any time I can help with any Artwork then I will. The work that you do is special and selfless.
