DAVE COURTNEY O.B.E.

Not a lot of people know this but Dave Courtney has a heart ... a heart of gold. Over the years he has done a lot to make my life a better one. He's probably done more favours than any man alive. He put on my wedding bash (although I couldn't make it) but he did my wife (well, ex-wife now) proud. It was the best. He's put on benefit nights to raise awareness of my plight and he's always been there in the front row for me coz he knows it's a fucking liberty me even being inside.

My mum idolises Dave, as does my sister Lorraine. He always spoils both of them. Unfortunately, he gave my son Mike a right hook in a club once. At the time I was livid with rage and I almost nutted my door off, but Mike's a man and he told me: "Dad, I deserved it. I was acting the pratt and DC put me right." So no damage done. Sometimes in life a right hook works best! Mike and Dave are mates now. It's a big Family. Thank heavens no tools were drawn, so I'm happy.

Dave's a top buddy ... a good man. Joe Pyle Snr. always respected Dave, as did the Krays and all the Chaps. So that speaks volumes. Dave is the bollocks and one of my best mates.
