CLARE RAPER

18th January 2007: Had a nice visit today off my dear friend Clare. Clare's been loyal to me and my campaign for years now. Her whole family are "salt of the earth" and I consider them all to be close friends.

Little Lilli, Clare's daughter, never made it this visit as it was a school day. We always have a good laugh and they always cheer me right up.

When I told Clare that I had got a KO on the appeal she went mad, saying "What a load of bollocks!" She's spot on ... the CCRC are a load of bollox!
