2011-PAROLE
REFUSED AGAIN
CLOSED REVIEW
CHARLIE WASN'T ALLOWED TO ATTEND HIS OWN PAROLE HEARING
A Closed Session Parole
Hearing for Charlie was held on 17th March 2011. That meant
that Charlie was not allowed to attend and make any attempt
to disagree with any of the "facts" used by the Parole Board
to arrive at their decision. In my book that is totally
UNJUST!
Below you will find the body of their findings and, below
that, I have added some notes of factual errors:

MAL'S NOTES: 2. Charlie was sentenced on 17
February 2000 NOT 2002!4. Special Hospitals and
Diagnosis: they really are scraping the barrel here to find
problems for Charlie. He was last in a Special Hospital in
1986 - 25 YEARS AGO - and the diagnoses cited are even older
than that!
5. Charlie did NOT attack a dog. He was attacked by a
prison dog that was set on him while he wore only gym shorts
and he defended himself against the attack, as any sane
person would do. The report affirms that this is "currently
subject to police investigation." It is NOT, as the police
dropped their investigation last year when the prison failed
to produce the video of the incident.
5. The incident in November 2010 was reported by the
prison as follows: "At 1:20pm on 12 November a prisoner
was involved in a minor incident in the gym association area
at Wakefield prison. Staff intervened at 4:37pm and the
incident was resolved at 4:40pm. No injuries were
sustained." The only things broken were two light bulbs.
Charlie was incapacitated by Pava spray and beaten by up to
twenty members of the Tornado Squad before being left in
agony without medical examination for several days. The
report fails to make mention of the cause for Charlie's
action, which was the prison refusing visiting rights for
FIFTEEN people in a row without just cause. After this
incident the prison reviewed the turned down applications
and reversed their refusals on most!
8. "established pattern of hostage taking" - Charlie last
took a hostage in 1999 ... TWELVE YEARS AGO!
