Dear Sirs,
RE: OUR CLIENT - CHARLES BRONSON- PREVIOUS REFERENCE-
00358/2006
We have been instructed by the above named individual.
Please find enclosed further advice in relation to Mr
Bronson’s CCRC application from James Lewis QC. Please
accept these as submissions in this matter. I understand
that this application was rejected in March this year.
Whilst I accept that the 28 days have now elapsed I would
submit that for a case of such public interest this advice
should now be considered as soon as possible. In summary it
is currently unclear as to which circumstances necessitate
an appointment by the court of amicus curiae. Can you
therefore advise if the attached advice can be considered
under the existing file?
Please also note that we confirm that Studio Legale
Internazionale will also be assisting in this matter, and
that we are happy for them to enter submissions.
Please contact Matthew Burniston if you require any further
information. I look forward to your response as soon as
possible.
Yours faithfully
Chivers Solicitors
